Guest guest
Hi list Just had an exhausting IEP meeting and would like to see if there is any information out there to support having some home programming for a child who is in middle school. The consultant hired by the district kept talking about it being " unusual " and of course I wanted to bite him! Here is a guy I know started out doing home programs for families and now is helping a district keep us from having some home ABA! All I want is a few hours a week for some more intensive social skills training.........not asking for a 40 hour DTT program! I am in school and I work, my husband works and we have two other kids, one who also has a disability, so as much as I would love to implement it and run it myself, I cannot. Anyone have some advice or documentation or anything?? Thanks in advance! " Riding a horse is...........a grand passion.
