Guest guest
NEW VIDEO RELEASE: Concept Expansion Films has just released the TEACHING EMOTIONS VIDEO. This video is a powerful tool for professionals and parents alike to assess and teach labels for emotions to persons with Autism-Spectrum Disorders and other developmental delays. Great for learners of all levels, including those with Aspergers. Emotions are better displayed in a video format than on stagnant picture cards. The video contains scenes that build into the emotion (cause and effect), so you can also discuss " why " the person feels a certain way. The video is designed to allow for various teaching techniques to be used, but the format is based on ABA-researched procedures. The video includes assessment and acquisition sheets, so you can monitor your learner's progress. The length of the scenes is such that you won't have to rewind or pause the video during teaching. The video complements the ABLLS(Copyrighted) [Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills] skill " G39 - Labels emotions of others, " but is also very useful for asking " why, " " who, " " which, " and " where " questions. Our videos have recently gained an endorsement from Dr. J. Carbone. Visit our website to read this and to learn more about the TEACHING EMOTIONS VIDEO and the TEACHING ACTIONS VIDEO SERIES.
