Guest guest
.. We are a young family with 3 children under 4 years, and no outside help(yet). Welcome Trent and family. We've been there with many little ones and no help. (We have 9 children ages 2 to 14.) It does get better!! Sounds like you do many of the same things as we do here in Ohio. and Colleen
Guest guest
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ > Hello, We operate a small grass based farm just outside of Philadelphia, PA. We raise Jersey cows, broiler & laying chickens, beef, hogs, lamb & veal. We have a raw milk & manufacturing license and sell raw dairy products & meat on the farm and through a few stores and the mail. We make virtually all normal dairy products, but aged cheeses are our specialty. We are not certified organic, and have no intentions to be. We believe in higher standards that include, creating the most natural, comfortable environment, and feeding each species according to what they were meant to eat. We are a young family with 3 children under 4 years, and no outside help (yet). We have customers with a full range of health concerns that are relying on our products for life improvement. We invite conversations. Thanks @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Hi Trent, Sounds like a fantastic operation you've got there. Say, what area near Philly? Do you sell stuff in the city somewhere? I have friends in Philly so it would be good for me to have something to refer them to if anyone gets interested in real food (not too many people...) I live about an hour from the city myself, near Cochranville... this is OT, but what do you feed your chickens? do they get pasture, insects? Guest guest
We are in Telford, PA just off exit 31, I-476 (the northeast extension)30-40 minutes from center city.(philadelphia), thats 55.7 miles from Cochranville, PA. Our chickens are pastured when the season permits. At this time they're deep bedded in the barn and fed a grain/mineral mix with alfalfa free choice(the fines from feeding our cows) Thanks to all for the kind welcome. It's neat to know we're not an Island! What area > near Philly? Do you sell stuff in the city somewhere?
