Hello group ! After the terrible tragedy that occured here in Norway, our company are involved in evaluating different aspects of the IAQ in the affected buildings. The bombing has some similarities to the WTC / 9-11, but without the fuel / fire. There is mostly broken windowglasses and " building-dust " . We are doing asbestos sampling (air and surfaces) and also some evaluation of the composition of the dust by using casettes. We have also done som particle counts in different size categories (Fluke 983). We are now in a quite early stage in the process (gathering information about whats in the air and so on), but they will soon be starting to remediate and finally moving some people back to the least affected offices. Some offices are already occupied. I remember that the WTC-dust caused a lot of problems and I wondered if anyone here could give me some hints on how to do this in the best possible way and not forget anything important. We do not want people to be insecure about the IAQ when moving back. If anyone have any articles / websites or personal experience to share I would really appreciate it ! All kind of thoughts on different topicks are welcome ! (type of sampling, risk communication, health effect etc etc ) Best Regards Ole Carlson , Mycoteam, Norway
