Calling all Spanish/English speakers and less-toxic advocates. A desperate situation presents opportunity today. I am asking knowledgeable people world-wide

to participate in a conference call

today to brainstorm what actions we

could take together to protect the life of the Elvira Roda, a chemically

injured woman, well known as the “Bubble Girl†in Spain. Her family has battled their City Council for

years about toxic fumigation. Each event

is a brush with death for “Elvi,†but they still plan to spray again in 1

month.

The family is now filing the most serious

lawsuit of all, charging the City Council with endangering not only her

personal health, but the health of all citizens and the environment.

The opportunity for us lies in Elvi’s fame in

the Spanish media. There have recently

been many sympathetic stories on the most popular national TV news shows, radio

and newspapers. With the issue in the

open, this is a chance for us to make a splash with facts and reason. Also a good platform for any of you to bring

about awareness of you or your organization.
