why a carb??

Why, when you mix milk with a MYO shake is that supposed to be

considered a carb?? (this is from paaaasssstt posts)Just something I

was pondering why drinking it with water, of course this morning.

I use the powdered no fat milk, but I do count the carbs as well as

the protein that it contains. It is on the nutrition label so I

count it.

Dianne,

Yes, milk is considered a carb because it contains lactose, a simple

sugar...about 11 gs per cup. Just figure those into your intake if you add

milk and you'll be fine.
