2 boys with autism in Tinley park (illinois) house caught on fire.

Kuehn who is a active member of I CARE of Illinois, a non profit

organization that helps families who have kids with autism, faced a devastating

tragedy last Monday. and who are also parents of 2 autistic boys

(11) and Ron (10) and a daughter who is 13, recently moved to Tinley park

in search of a better education for their two autistic sons. Work stations for

the two boys to run their ABA program were set up in the basement.

But everything changed quickly when a fire damaged their house, Monday night

(Dec 27). Every one is okay except . He sustained minor burns to his body

, but he remains in critical condition at the university of Chicago hospital due

to extensive damage to his lungs from high level of Carbon monoxide in his blood

stream from smoke inhalation. and have spent the last several days

at his bedside at the hospital .The other two kids are with friends and family,

meanwhile the parents are staying at a dorm at the hospital.

in spite of having two kids with autism always had time to help other

parents. She is one of those people who will help you all the way, we were

always amazed at how fast she responded when somebody needed help.

Higginbotham president of I CARE and a good friend of and and few other

friends have set up a family fund. Their house has been extensively damaged and

lot of things are lost including all their materials and toys and everything

that they used for their ABA program.
