What is causing so many people to have hypothyroid??

Hi everyone. I'm new, and wanted to ask why do you think so many are

having hypothyroid?? I've read about low iodine, and that made me

wonder if the Dallas soil is low where I live! I also read about

Fluoride on another thyroid site and how it can suppress the thyroid,

and since the Dallas water has it, I wondered about that, too!

Do you have any ideas?
