Guest guest
It sounds like you might just need a bit more Armour. Terijo
Guest guest
You probably need a larger dose of Armour. There is no .5 mcg dose of Armour. Do you mean .5 grains (30 mg)? Did you take your Armour before the blood draw? Are you on hormone replacement therapy or birth control pills? >> Hi Ladies, I'm nearing the end of my rope and thought it would be a > good idea to reach out for some support. Guest guest
I have been on Armour for one year and I just lost 20 lbs within the last eight weeks. I believe it is because I am nearing the beginning of an adequate dose. I have 40 more lbs to lose and I hate being overweight. I have been so for 2 years now so I know your pain. I agree with what others have said....wait until you go up on dosage. I gave up on Armour once before too and that is when I gained all the weight. I am just now starting to feel a little normal. Good luck. Hi Ladies, I'm nearing the end of my rope and thought it would be a good idea to reach out for some support. This board has provided so much knowledge to me that has been very helpful. Guest guest
There is another person on here who experienced this for some yrs after starting Armour, but the Armour saved her life, and eventually the weight came off. Had something to do with being puffy, etc......but I'll let her tell that story, if she will. It was not regular weight gain, and SHE said that it came from everything readjusting in the body (those aren't her words, but are the gest of what she said). It did eventually come off after she was optimal on the Armour, but it took time. Sharon, are you here? Don't know if that would be your scenario, as we're all so individual, but I thought that it made a whole lot of sense. Guest guest
The weight gain after going off is also a big concern. My doctor doesn't think I need more Armour. Thus I am now considering another route that will include hormone replacement therapy as well as thyroid. -Janet
Guest guest
I do remember someone posting something about retaining fluids after going on Armour. Guest guest
That was Sharon. She said that after she started Armour, she puffed up and looked like the Pillsbury Doughboy for about 18 months. Then it resolved on its own.
