Guest guest
Get out your provider directory, call every PCP, and ask if they Rx Armour. One endo who is known to be Armour-friendly is (?) Verdonk in Temple. Is he on your plan? We removed from our list because she was keeping folks undermedicated. Your TSH at 4.2 would suggest that she is doing the same with you. >> Tina,> Thank you for the Austin Doc suggestions. I called Dr lin's office > for thyroid treatment, they said I would have to pay to be in a "club" > on top of my copays, I said cant do that thank you. I made an appt > with Dr Horvit, now that you say she wont test Ft4 and FT3, I will > cancel that appt. When I had called to make the appt I asked her nurse > if she Rxs Armour, she said no, because it is from dead animals and it > isnt a consistant dose. I have been on Armour for a year and a half.> I wanted to see an Endo or some Doc here on my insurance because I have > TSI & TRab antibodies. The other Endo on my Humana Choice PPO Medicare > Advantage Plan is Simone Scumpia..been there done that back in 2005 and > NO WAY would I ever go back there. And a Dr Farencamp, whom a friend > used to see for diabetes and didnt like him. I guess I will just keep > seeing Dr Ehrin , I cant find anyone else, but I am worried about > these Graves antibodies, yet my last TSH was 4.2 and now I take 30 mg > of Armour. Dr Wiseman is nice, but, well, I used to be his nurse and I > dont want to go back there... > THX, Pam>
