Yes, and please don't take this the wrong way - but if you are truly

knowledgeable on the DAN protocol, are willing to order the many lab tests

needed, have a nurse that can do blood draws and IV's on the most hostile child,

and truly are in this to help are children then people will come. Oh boy will

they come!

new clinic for autism north of Houston

Hello,

My name is Dr. Pothuluri. I am a Family Practice Physician in

Kingwood, Texas. I have a close relative with Asperger's and through my

love for this beautiful child I have learned a lot about autism. My

quest for knowledge has led to a passion to open a clinic. I hope that

I may help children on the autism spectrum and parents/guardians by

providing options including diet and alternative treatments such as

vitamins, chelation (DAN approach).

I am in the process of looking for office space and would like

suggestions from anyone on a good location near Humble, Texas. Should

I focus on finding a place close to Highway 59 or do you think people

will travel in to Kingwood or Atascocita to see me?

Thank you.

Dear Dr. Garza,

I appreciate your encouragement (as well as others who posted

messages). I was not offended by

what you said- I agree it is important to be well versed in the DAN

protocol. I have attended a DAN conference

and am reading more daily. I also have shadowed Dr. Jepson in Austin,

Texas who is a fabulous Autism specialist.

I want to create an environment of love, understanding, and knowledge for

patients and will ensure my staff

is well trained.

Thanks-

Nomita

Dear Dr.Pothuluri,

Yes they would come if you are truely educated in the DAN! protocal.

Perhaps you could visit with Thoughtful House Center for Children and

Dr's Jepson, Krigsman and Wakefield to learn more. They are in

Austin. There are many other good doctors too that treat the physical

health of our kids, and therefore treat their minds as a side effect

(a good one!)

Go to a DAN! Conference, several DAN! conferences. Learn the exact

science. Visit the labs and learn what they test for and how they

test. Learn why their tests are important to solving the riddle of

our kids health. Most of us know that insurance can be difficult, so

charge a reasonable price for your services. We know you have to eat,

but there have bben docs who did not implement DAN! protocal as

designed yet charged exhobitant prices. The parents of these kids are

strapped for money, but will pay a fair price for good, compassionate

care. Please remember that most of these parents will find you

because they have become quasi-experts in the physical science of

autism. They do not want to be told not to ask questions. They have

gotten to a point where they don't trust most doctors.

If you are willing to do this, then they will come. Dr. Jepson ( my

son's doc) already has appointments months out.

We welcome all who truely care.

I live in Dayton and have been traveling to 45 & 1960 to see a

psychiatrist for the last year. Last week he tells me he thinks he

will be changin my son's diagnosis to PDD. Now I am searching for a

doctor that can help me understand all of this more. I would love

someone so close in Atascosita or in Kingwood, but I will travel to

the other side of Houston if need be. Do you currently have an

office in Kingwood and would you be interested in seeing a new

patient and a lost mother?

The clinic I am currently working in is a Urgent Care facility but if I

need to see patients

I can use another office until my clinic opens.

Please call and ask for Annie (my nurse) and we will

make arrangements

to start seeing patients. When you call please let them know that you

are calling for the

autism clinic.

Thanks-

Dear ,

Thanks for your suggestions. I have attended a DAN conference and

spent time shadowing Dr. Jepson and

his staff. There is so much to learn about the available treatment

options for autism and will be attending

many more conferences/meetings.

I appreciate your help.

Dr. Pothiluri,

I just saw your earlier post where you said you were shadowing Dr.

Jepson. I am so happy you are really interested in helping our kids.

There are so many who need help. Please keep us posted on your

progress!

Just a question to ask when it involves chelation, since I am not

aware of this being done at the Thoughtful House.

Always learning and always inquiring especially when there is anything

going on here in Texas.

Will this be the push or slow-drip chelation treatment?

Thought I ask, because I know there is a difference here, right?

Since there is always so much controversial issues when it involves

this type of treatment and certain medical professionals who apply

this, I end up hearing the good, the bad & the ugly stories.

Nomita, glad you are taking your practice a little further to help

many who believe on the alternative bio-med intervention route where

the conventional medical route has failed several, of course do not

want to speak bad about it as there is always a need for anything that

will help any individual when it comes to health issues.

Still nice to have options than not having anything to help treat,

cure or prevent anything.

It is always a never-ending learning curve.

Just one of my many hats I have to wear on educating myself on

addressing anything for my son, where he does benefit from the

alternative bio-med intervention, special-diet & supplements.

I totally agree on having a nurse that can draw blood and IV's.

If money was not object another investment also would be great to have

some type of a Vein viewer which I had noticed on the news awhile back.

Of course hopefully later on, there is nothing about something like

radiation affects.

Here is the site to review.

First Hospital To Use The VeinViewer

With this device physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals

can find veins easily and avoid multiple needle sticks to patients.

Dear Irma

Chelation will be one of the options for my patients but it will not

be a first line therapy and

I have not decided my protocol for it yet. So far, po meds/liquids are

better than IV chelation but

I will continue to educate myself.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It means a lot to me.
