Medical Board Suspends License of Martha LeBlanc, M.D., of San

The Texas Medical Board has suspended the license of Martha LeBlanc, M.D., license #H4481, of San , after a hearing in which a panel determined Dr. LeBlanc had violated a previous order.

On October 8, 2004, Dr. LeBlanc entered into an agreed order after the board found that she had allowed the unauthorized practice of medicine by her husband. The order suspended her license, stayed the suspension and placed her on probation for five years under certain terms and conditions, one of which was that she take and pass the Medical Jurisprudence Exam within one year from the effective date of the order.

At an Informal Settlement Conference on Tuesday, July 8, Dr. LeBlanc told the board that she had not taken the JP exam more than two years after the deadline for compliance. There was non-compliance with other items in the order as well. The panel found that she had violated the 2004 order and directed that her license be suspended. The suspension remains in effect until Dr. LeBlanc demonstrates to the board that she possesses the skills and knowledge to safely and competently practice medicine in Texas.
