Guest guest
I read these horror stories of our children being dragged from the car by their feet, my child was kicked and had fingerprints all over his body but no one did anything to him. Can we as Parents unite. I have my child at home also. You can ask if he wants a teacher and he yells NOOO!! School was okay it was the teachers that left the bad impression. The administration in our districts seem to believe that they are above the law and so far it seems that the law is on their side. I know of children in League City that have been bruised from restraints and the parent was advised by her attorney not to send her child back to school for his safety. Our children are unable to tell the events as they happened and the districts are wanting to use them as tackling dummies and kickboards as a lack of better things to do. (such as learning how to deal with the behaviors and having a professional do an BTP assesment and make out the plan. Most of the representives that the districts hire are of the same quality as the school personnel and professionals. Our schools are exemplary by the state so there is no help from higher authorities. Surely there is one judge out there that truly cares what happens to person's with disabilities. in Alvin
