Please explain it again You meant that everything we receive as reality is merely a projection of our inner world? If so it means that the noise doesn't exist outside of me but in me I make the noise inside and I point out the neighbors for making me noise So, how can I quiet my inner existence? I want some peace of mind. BK: How do I know I don't need something? I don't have it. Pllllllllllllllllease > > TT: " I am bothered by the noise my naibours does. My guess is that peace of mind is something that you can gain from the inside But, I guess I am all noisy at the moment from the inside No one to blame here, but my noisy head What now? What next? > TT: " I have no where to go. " > > SD: You need to go somewhere? Is that true? No it is not true peace of mind is a inner thing I can have it everywhere I just need to quiet my thinking > > Help, please. > > Love, Steve D. Guest guest
Dear Tami: Nothing exists outside of you. Yes, the noise is in you. You quiet your inner existence by " Loving What Is. " You accept what is " My neighbors make noise when they walk around. " You stop arguing that what is happening shouldn't be happening. This will help reduce the noise in your mind. If their noise gets to be too much, perhaps you should take a walk out doors, enjoy nature and simply get away from it for awhile? When you say, " I want some peace of mind. " , What you are truly saying is that you don't have peace of mind and that is what is being proven to you by what you are experiencing through your hearing. The mind always strives to be right and the 5 senses are there to prove to you that the mind is right. It is a " closed loop " . The mind projects what is in it (in your case, a lot of noise) and then the 5 senses receive the proof back that what your mind projected out was true. The mind and the 5 senses work together to prove that the mind is right. Obviously, you do not need " peace of mind " or you would have " peace of mind " . Chaotic mind = chaotic world. The noise is not happening to you, it is happening for you. When you learn to love the noise for showing you what is in your mind, you may discover that the moise ceases to be a problem? From what I read here, such as: " My guess is that > peace of mind is something that you can gain from the inside > But, I guess I am all noisy at the moment > from the inside > No one to blame here, but my noisy head " You understand this situation very well. So, stop blaming the neighbor's walking for your lack of peace. In the meantime, how about some earplugs? Or you could nail carpeting or foam rubber or some type of sound deadener (like old egg cartons) to your ceiling to deaden the sound. Something I was wondering is: When did this noise begin? How long has it been going on? Did your neighbors just move in recently or did you? Did your neighbors get some new heavier shoes? Do your neighbors ever go to sleep? What time of day is the noise the worst? Do they work a different shift than you do so that this makes it hard to sleep for you? You could get a pair of headphones and wear them in your house and listen to peaceful music or a CD, etc.? Love, Steve D. > > > > Dear Tami, > > > > > > TT: " Is Noise a story also?
