Guest guest
This is an interesting thread for me because for the past 4 years Ive been very sensitive to noise. I live with someone who finds comfort in noise, he has his computer on, the stereo on and the tv on, its white noise for him, all his siblings do the same, his father was a raging alcoholic and it was their way of drowning him out. I came from a quiet home, my father liked everything to be quiet because I would say his inner world was very noisy. Since becoming anemic and having candida my ears and skin are sensitive to noise. Tami, Im thinking youre a red rag to a bull now, youre hypervigilent to the noise now, the groove is set in motion. Im wondering if doing The Work on this issue is driving your mind nuts and in knots, is there anyway that you can sooth your mind and emotions? Perhaps not a thought but an action. Lovely oil scented bath, with earplugs, Im thinking earplugs would be good for you for a while, it'll mean you hear whats going on on the inside, and also perhaps you have a part of you that is reaching out for noise, keeping an ear out for safety reasons. You'll find that out if you have earplugs. Experiment. Happy new year to you all.
