Look it up on the net. It regulates the seratonin, the imbalance of which is the real cause of most of our sleep problems. I take 100mg 3 times at day with meals. After it builds up you should be able to go to sleep with no problem. It is such a joy to actually go to sleep when I want to. And the bonus is you will have no side effects like drowsiness when you don't want to be or find that you were up ironing or cooking during the night.
