Guest guest
You are right, there are a zillion ways to reach peace or God or whatever you want to call it. And we could wish that the ways to get there would look in a ceratain way (more loving, more beautiful, more wonderful and soft), and in the end it is reality that will tell us how it will look. For some it is having a baby. For some it is meditation. For some it is drugs or smoking. Love doesn´t limit the number of ways we could reach peace/God/happiness. Only our thinking does that. " I can't imagine a loving God providing us with anything less than a zillion ways to reach him. " Well, isn´t that exactly what God/reality does? Some of the zillion ways seems to be smoking or drugs or rape or war or depressions or child molestings or torture. And I agree with you, smoking is just one of them. And when I stop argue with reality, that is what is, until it isn´t. Love, > > I have never really enjoyed this question because it seems so > unloving.
