Our forum will take place at the Indoor Air 2011 conference in Austin, TX, June 5-10, 2011. (See: www.indoorair2011.org) Specifically, this forum is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7th, 2011 at 3:30 - 5:00 PM. Following is the Forum/Workshop description as it will appear in the conference program: " The objective of this forum is to define the principal characteristics of true professional-level IEQ consulting by initiating a dialog among practitioners and other interested stakeholders. A series of succinct presentations will frame the conversation by examining the proliferation of questionable industry credentials, describing the required level of formal education and practical experience, and outlining the essential nature of meaningful continuing education, with a focus on the relevant research literature. We invite the audience to share their perspectives and to contribute to the development of a fundamental set of metrics and descriptors for identifying genuine IEQ consulting professionals.
