I emailed this to one of my Best friends, when in full support of me, she would

make 'those' comments (I get tired too, we're just getting older). I knew she

was just trying to be supportive, but they are hurtful anyway. I really wanted

her to understand what my days were like now.

After I sent this to her, she really 'got it'. She and her daughter were out

shopping months afterwards, and found a cloth purse/bag that is patterened with

spoons allover it - she bought it for me and said " I have never looked at spoons

the same way since reading The Spoon Theory " . I was really touched.
