Guest guest
Jane, have you considered takig your morning dose of Lyrica a couple hours before you have to get up? The evening dose just helped me sleep, but the am dose wold really affect me so I set my alarm for 6 am and have the med and water by my bed. I would take it and go righ t back to sleep then when I got up a couple hours later, no pain and no side effects!! Hugs, Michele ----- " janel450 " wrote: > HI P.J., > Yes, I'm on Savella now.  For me, Savella (just upped from 75 to 100mgs per day) in conjunction with the Lyrica (300mgs per day)does help ALLEVIATE the pain.  I'm in less pain on both than on just Lyrica or taking nothing at all. > I do have side effects of course! mainly dizziness/vertigo, increased fatigue (like I needed that!) and some increased brain fog.  My doc just increased my Savella last week from 75mg -100mgs for the pain, and also gave me Provigil for 'alertness and brain fog'.  I'm still trying it all out - I've noticed about 3 hours after taking the Provigil, for about and hour or so, I'm really quite loopy, but then it subsides.....oh wait, I digress. > PJ, I think the Savella helps .....  I would rather be a little 'off-balance'  than to suffer thru the pain...........but that's just me!  I'm off balance with my CFS, whether I'm on any meds or not!!!  > Hope this helps! > STL Jane
