Guest guest
Try contacting the closest family service center near you. Is your DH in the USAF or Army? any other military families? My husband is in the National Guard. His unit was recently activated. (Yah, Merry Christmas, huh?) Any other families living with autism and the craziness this has created? Anyone know anything about the military insurance? All I have been able to figure out (from military.com) is that there is no medical providers that accept it where we live. This is simply insane! Guest guest
DH is retired Army Master Diver here. We work with TriCare. Some clinics do not like to work with it but if you call the 800 # on the back of the card and be persistant you can get an authorization number for doctors close to you.I have found that it is really important to try paying co-pay's the day of your doctor appointments, TriCare is a little slow about paying os it helps to keep them happy. Do you mind saying where you are at? I think someone already told you this in another post but call the nearest military base and talk to someone who deals with benefits (it is to early in the a.m. for me to think of the title of said person) You may want to think about conacting your county Social Services, sometimes they have names of doctors and therapists who will work with you. Also your local/state Autism Society. TALK TO YOU LATER MELISSA MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 3 months FREE*.
