FUSUIN 2011-79 batch MGIMS

Dear friends,

Hello! It's now past the middle of

October and to be honest, I had thought I'd be flooded with

registration letters by now! A positive tsunami was what I had expected

considering the overwhelming positive response we'd gotten when the

organizers spoke to you all of you!

But that hasn't happened and I

hope it isnt because you are having second thoughts about coming? This

is one occasion we all should rise for, one that wont easily happen

again. So many of our friends who live out of the country are making

plans and efforts to be here for the get together. We who live in India

should also pick ourselves up and realize that we can't always be

looking at the bottom line. Some occasions force us to see other things

beside mundane things like convenience and cost. Would you be able to

forgive yourself if you skipped a chance to meet your old friends

again, to show your kids the college that we remember with fondness not

because of the building and ramparts but because of all that happened

when we were there! So come on, friends, show your will and find your

way! Join us for the get together of a lifetime!

I know there may be some of you

that honestly want to come but might be finding the cost slightly

daunting. Rest assured my friends, we members of the organizing

committee want nothing at all for ourselves except the pleasure of

seeing you all here at Surajkund on 5th and 6th of November. Whatever

is spent will be for your care, convenience and enjoyment, And if you

all come in the number we'd like, then definitely we will have

significant money left over which will be returned to you. Either

you'll get it back or you'll enjoy it. I for one have enjoyed just

getting back in touch with all of you and hearing your enthusiastic

voices on the phone! People with whom I might never have even exchanged

many sentences during college days write me such nice mails and hearing

your achievements and good fortunes warms up my heart. Can a cost be

put to that feeling? So come on folks, get up and think of the

occasion, the emotions and the memories, especially the ones we'll

create that day!

We'll be bringing in touch our tomorrow with our yesterday! Can you keep

yourself away from that?
