We also sell colostrum for $8 half gallon or $15 gallon (cow or goat). It tastes like boiled custard to me. There was discussion a while back on the list of the benefits or not, and the views are mixed. I personally have seen several diabetic customers greatly benefit from such, but I cannot speak to the reasons why or reaction of the general population.

I recommend fresh colostrum

from grassfed cows for any chronic condition because I have found it to be

extremely beneficial. I’ve used it myself on several occasions for 3 to 7 days

at a time, sometimes a couple of quarts a day. There is a lot of material about

colostrum available on the Internet if you were to do a search on Google, for

example, that details the effects and specific biochemical benefits. I believe it’s one of the most powerful

healing foods we have. In California, Organic Pastures Dairy sells all the raw

colostrum they can bottle at $8 a pint in health food supermarkets and stores

throughout the state!

Hi , what do you define as colostrum? (I.E. what hours/days of

milking?) I understand that usually the first 4-5 hours which is the

strongest colostrum goes to the calf, and that legally you can milk

for a few days after that although it becomes more and more

transitional milk. Curious what your breakoff point is and do you

ship frozen...or? Well I'll go on your site. Thanx! Also is the

colostrum available year round?
