Food, clothing, money, the need to be loved, etc. How do we obtain what we need? If I use intimidation, seduction, manipulation, and helplessness or if I downright lie to get what I need or want, then I am only pulling myself down into a quagmire of deceit and discontent. I not only hurt others in this process, I hurt myself ten times more than I think I am. Recognize your needs and fulfill them in healthy and honest ways. Avoid playing games to get what you want.
