Guest guest
Hello, I have been trying to move away from plastic and silicone, especially with cast iron because I noticed the tips of plastic spatulas will begin to " curdle " and flake off into food when I am making burgers or pancakes. Today, I was cooking pancakes on a cast iron skillet and was using a metal (I thought stainless steel) spatula, and there was metal pieces left in the pancakes as if it had been sprinkled with glitter!!!! Not interested in increasing our metal toxicity load, I threw out the pancakes. What a waste! Can someone tell me what type and BRAND of spatula I need? (I do not mean the rubber spatulas used for batter, I mean a tough frying spatula for flipped burgers and pancakes). Thanks Carol F
