Guest guest
I was a substitute for Cy Fair for 2 years before I became a teacher and I subbed many times at Lowery Elem. It was a nice school with a very warm and kind atmosphere. I lived in the area also. Cy Fair is an excellent district which serves the needs of special education students better than others in our state. I am not familiar with specs of their program for children with autism, but everything in that district is top notch. lowery elementary Does anyone know anything about Lowery Elementary in Cy-Fair district? A mom is moving from out of state, has high functioning child with autism and is looking to buy a home in Copperfield close to Lowery Elem. Guest guest
Sara, I don't know anything about Lowery, but if you friend can't get a house near Lowery, Copperfield also has Copeland Elementary right in the neighborhood. My son goes there and we have been very happy. The principal is fabulous and really watches out for the special needs kids. We moved from a superb program in New Jersey and we have been pleasantly surprised about the support that Connor is getting at Copeland. We did a lot of research prior to our move and we decided to buy a house so that he could go to Copeland....no regrets!! The progress he is making is fantastic. FYI, I did hear from a few sources that Fiest is not one of the better schools in the Cy-Fair district for special ed....that may not be true, but I did want to pass it on since I did hear it from more than one person, including a mom with a special needs son who finally pulled him out and sent him to a private school. e RE: lowery elementary I was a substitute for Cy Fair for 2 years before I became a teacher and I subbed many times at Lowery Elem. Guest guest
Not our experience with CYFAIR. It was nothing but top notch. However, can not compare it to other districts since it was the only one we had to deal with. lowery elementary > > Does anyone know anything about Lowery Elementary in Cy-Fair district?
