Guest guest
Great mini article Kishorda ! In world of Sports, going by the 'consistent' performance by Indian athletes, they have gained the un-envious title of 'Last and Laborious'. Sanjay Marwah '78 ________________________________ To: Undisclosed-Recipient@... Sent: Wednesday, 12 October 2011 1:41 PM Subject: Sound and Fury  Sound and Fury Recently, India has been in the news for various people angry against the system and fasting. Some people in the opposition were angry against the fasts and fasted. And also some people were plain angry and not fasting but travelling in a fast AC van called a rath, or should it be called the wrath? Thus India has become the land of the Fast and the Furious. In unrelated news, the Government of the Netherlands has decided to impose a tax on fat leading people to try to store as much fat as possible in the fridge. Some wondered whether they now would be taxed for their fat wives or husbands and wondering if a larger fridge was necessary to accommodate their spouse, leading to the land of the Fat and the Furious. In another unrelated news, the Ignoble prize, which is awarded each year for the least useful research, was awarded to a study conducted to evaluate the effect of suppressing natural urges like peeing and flatulence in decision making. Thus the Fart and the Curious award. And in a totally unrelated incident, Shohaib Akhtar published his book during Gandhiji's birth weekend, which should have been called " My experiments with 'the' truth " or better still: the Past and the Spurious! -Kishore Shah (from my newspaper column 'Mahahabharat')
