Hi Betty!

Welcome to the group!! 22 pounds! Wow!! That is awesome!! We have a few other

members who are on weight watchers, you will find a lot of support!! I am

also a stay at home mom of 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. Which

Welcome Joya,

I would suggest buying one advanced tape and try it out. If you feel that you

are not ready stick with the basics for a while. The basic tapes give an

incredible workout! I would be sure that you have the moves down before

jumping into the advanced. You wouldn't want to get hurt. Have you done the

instructional? Is Tae-Bo popular in Honduras? Welcome to the group!!

Betty,

Welcome to the group! Congratulations on your weight loss! That's

incredible! Are you back to your pre-pregnancy weight or do you

still want to lose more? What are your goals? I am a SAHM also to

Skylar, who is 16 months. I also did WW right after she was born and

it was great! I am at my goal weight now and continue to become more

and more defined from tae-bo. I am in the best shape I have ever

been in my life! There are a few people here who are doing the

WW/tae-bo combination....you'll get lots of support with that. There

are also a few people from Ohio, I believe! I look forward to

hearing more about you and your tae-bo journey!

Thanks, Elena. Would this be the offer that comes with the first set ( a

card offering the free 8 minute and the advanced for 29.95?) It does not

say studio on it, just advanced?

Thanks for the welcome, . Yes, I did the instructional the first

day and then the next started on the Basic. The only one I have trouble

with is the back kick (my form is awful and I barely can kick!). I was at

a gym that offered Tae Bo briefly but it was nothing like the tapes, so no,

it has not hit Honduras. I first saw it on the infomercial, but finally

made the decision to order from recommendations on another email list that

I am on. I really want to rev my metabolism as I am soooo tired of

watching what I eat like a hawk, with no results.

Thanks,

Joya

Welcome, Joya! Do you have the studio advanced tape. Just to be safe,

I would recommend that you do that one next before committing yourself

to the advanced automatic delivery. That's great that you can do the

basic and speed walk. It shows that you are in good cardio shape.

There's so much to learn in Taebo. I'm afraid that if you jumped ahead

to the advanced live tapes, you might miss some important lessons in

form. If you have the studio advanced, try that next. It will give you

a great cardio workout and teach you the form and basic moves. Believe

me it is still challenging even for those of us who have been doing

taebo for a year. The studio advanced class is mostly instructors so

you can watch their form and mold yours after theirs. You can still

improve your form with the live tapes, but I'd had to see you commit to

spending money on tapes that you can't use yet.

Betty,

Congratulations on getting back to your pre-pregnancy weight so

quickly! That's wonderful! What I have noticed with tae-bo is that

I weigh more (because of the muscle I've developed), but I am able to

fit into smaller sizes. So, don't get too stressed out about what

the number on the scale says or trying to get back to your high

school weight, because you may not get there! You may, however, be

able to fit into the same size you wore back then! I think you'll be

amazed at the changes that start happening to your body! It's really

incredible!

Joya,

Welcome to the group! It sounds like you are in really good shape!

I saw in one of your other messages that you only have the studio

basic tape (that's the original tape...we just call it the studio

basic because it was done in a studio as opposed to the live ones

which are actual classes). I'd try to get the studio advanced and

the 8 minute tape. You can usually find these pretty cheap since

they are older...you can look on e-bay. If you are wanting to get

some of the live tapes, I'd recommend signing up for the basic live

series starting with #1 and when you get it....see how you like it

and whether it is still easy for you. At that point, if you want to

try the advanced....then you can call and switch your subscription to

the advanced tapes and then the next tape that you'd get would be

Advanced Live volume 1 (AL1). Or, if you are feeling challenged by

Basic Live volume 1 (BL1) then you can get basic volume 2 (BL2).

Both BL1 and BL2 are excellent tapes. BL1 is a little harder than

the studi basic and also has a tiny bit of floorwork at the end.

It's a good intermediate tape to do when you're ready for more than

the basic, but are still working up to the advanced! Anyway, I look

forward to hearing more from you! Tae-bo is a lot of fun and will

really change your body!

Yes, that's it, Joya! But, now that I know the price, you might want to

call the 1-877 number on the back of the basic video tape box and see if

you can get it cheaper than that. I know they are selling the live

advanced tapes for $19.99 (with Postage and Handling it comes to

$24.95). Maybe they are selling the studio advanced for the same price

now. If not, it probably wouldn't hurt to start your live collection

with advanced live volume I (AL1). You'll save an additional $5.00 by

ordering it with the automatic delivery. I wonder if they will send you

tapes in Honduras? I hope so. AL1 will teach you a lot, too.

I know what you mean . I was getting kinda

upset for awhile because I wasnt losing weight as

quickly as I wanted to (dont we all want it to hapen

overnight?). But when I started taking my

measurements and realized I've gone from a size 16 in

January to a 12 that is getting loose on me know, I'm

much happier with my results. I think it's is really

due to the taebo, my legs/butt are so much firmer than

Elena,

My DH is going up to the states tomorrow so he can call the 1-877 number

and find out if I can get the tape cheaper. Can he go ahead and make the

automatic order there or should I do that on the internet?

Thanks,
