Wayman Learning Center, part of Wayman Professional Services, LLC, is owned and directed by Gail Wayman, MEd, BCABA. Wayman Learning Center will provide the following educational/behavioral services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), other developmental disabilities and developmental delays. a.. Applied Behavior Analysis services guided by current research and data collection b.. Teaching of communication based on Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior c.. One-to-One intensive teaching and natural environment teaching d.. Education plan based on individual needs according to the ABLLS e.. Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and behavior reduction plans f.. Hands on training for families and others who work with the child in the home g.. In-home training h.. One and Two day behavioral/educational assessments, with recommendations for IEP's, including objectives, and Behavior Intervention Plans (especially helpful for families who do not live in the DFW area, and/or for children who are making little or no progress in school) In addition to the above services, Wayman Learning Center offers the following: a.. Emphasis on communication b.. Additional emphasis on skills needed for success in school c.. Procedures for contriving the child's motivation and using that motivation to increase probability of desirable outcomes d.. Sensory motor activities for contriving motivation e.. Opportunity for socialization f.. Flexible scheduling- In collaboration with WLC, you may choose the number of weekly hours (at or above WLC's minimum-see below**) to address the needs of your child and develop a weekly schedule with WLC that will address your scheduling needs. **Minimum requirement for hours per week--Minimum of three sessions per week and minimum of 4.5 hours per week (equivalent to 1.5 hours, three times per week) Wayman Learning Center is now accepting applications for clients, and for full/part-time staff positions.
