I found a very old bullworker 2, it was

stiff and rust came out in dust when I used it – I have several times

used WD40 believe this is the best product to use.

Maintaining the bullworker

On moving house recently I have just rediscovered and

exhumed my old

bullworker X5 from the cupboard. I forgot how much fun it was and am

getting back into using it again.

As it has lain unused for a long time, its not in the best state of

repair, and I have noticed that one side is a lot stiffer than the

other and a bit creaky.

Has anyone any tips on the best way to lubricate, clean and generally

look after your bullworker

I've done that, too. And while WD40 is indeed good for

removing rust, I found out in bicycle chain maintenance

info that it does not keep rust from forming, nor is it

a lubricant. So a coat of oil is still recommended after

the cleansing with WD40. I still have not done that on

my BWs, though.

Just something to consider.
