Guest guest
a: DDP stands for Diocesan Development Program -- for Natural Family Planning. The DDP is a program of the Pro-Life Secretariate and department of NFP of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Theresa Notare is the Director of the program. You can obtain certification as a diocesan NFP teacher through your diocesan NFP program if the program has been approved by the DDP. The DDP-USCCB has diocesan program guidelines and standards for NFP. You can access them at: http://www.usccb.org/prolife/issues/nfp/standard.shtml One of the standards is that the diocesan teacher teaches a DDP approved NFP method and has been trained through an approved NFP teacher training program. You can view the approved training programs by clicking on the " Where to train as a NFP teacher " button on the web site linked above. Thanks for asking for the clarification. J. Fehring, PhD, RN Professor Marquette University and National Advisory Board Member to the DDP Re: Introduction What's a DDP certified instructor? a > I am in the process of becoming a DDP certified sympto-thermal > instructor in the Boston diocese. Guest guest
Thanks for the clarification! I'm in Canada, so that's probably why I've never heard of it! a > > a: > > DDP stands for Diocesan Development Program -- for Natural Family > Planning. Guest guest
Hello all, I am a classical homeopath practicing SW of the cities. I am also the director of complementary and alternative medicine for a newly opened outpatient facility treating cancer and chronic illnesses with integrated approaches. (The Kukowski Center for Spiritual and Physical Healing) I frequently offer free talks and classes on various natural health topics and would like to share these with members of the group. One of your members kindly posted my last class at Chanhassen Library about natural healthcare for your children. My next free talk will be about dealing with cancer, chronic illness, or chronic pain. It takes place next week and I will post the details in a few days. Best regards, Cilla Whatcott, H.D., RHom, CCH www.familyhomeopathycare.com www.kukowskicenter.org
