OT: New law effective 2/10 related to lead content of items

This is not related to food but I wanted to alert you to this important topic.

Testing for lead in items geared or perceived as for children is important but

this goes way too far! You can vote to change the CPSIA ruling on change.gov

(same as voting to legalize raw milk..you did, didn't you?)

Kare11 is actually planning to do a story about this issue/law.? There is a

discussion thread on about this new law on Momslikeme.com, one mother posted a

draft of a letter that you can copy and send to your senator.?

I think this law is actually crazy! Talk about senseless lawmaking.

Impacting an already suffering national economy, ebay, auctions, local

stores and businesses and preventing folks from recycling. Which is a

GOOD thing to do. ~ Jo
