Guest guest
Hello All, Ok first the good news, I have finally recovered from the raunchiest stomach fu of all time I have never thrown up so much in my whole life. But on the good side I have lost nearly twenty pounds but man is that a tough way to lose it. On the other hand, my doctor and I met about a week ago and I showed him the file that I have been collecting on Fibromyalgis, chronic back pain, migraines and the Chronic Fatigue. He was very impressed with my research and asked me if he could make copies of my research so that he could give it to anyone who he newly diagnosed with any of those conditions. I also told him of this group and told him that if anyone needed assistance that they could email me or give me a call and I would be glad to get them any info I could. Now for the bad part, I have been on 12 50mg Tramadol's and I have been hacing some stomach pain. He is a little worried that I may be developing an ulcer which can happen because of the base of the medication. So he is working with my pain doctor trying to figure out a way to work with the pain without causing me any further problems with my stomach. In addition now my Migraine condition has flared why I don't know why but they have to try to control without making my stomach go crazy. So now here is the list of nonsense that I need to deal with 1. Migraines 2. Chronic Fatigue 3. Fibromyalgia 4. Pinched nerve in my neck causing three fingers to permanently contract 5. Four lumbar discs which are herniated and deteriorating. 6. Neuopathy in both feet, that really sucks 7. Now Ulcers and possibly internal bleeding. So I wonder if any of you have come across any research that suggests that Ultram or tramadol causes ulcers and what is best to do about them. Also I would like to know if any of you would like to set up a time to have a chat on whatever chat program is best for people. I am generally on in the evening until early morning and I would love to get to know some of you better. We can defeat pain if we stick together and try to figure out coping techniques. I don't plan to be in this kind of pain and I want an effective way of dealing with them. Be well, stay strong and we will get through this, Tammi
