No need to be formal, we are all friends here, you can call me " Neo "

if you like. is a label used by the world, Neo is the name of my

Why did stop believing her depressing thoughts one day when

lying on the floor? Why did you stop believing your confused thoughts

after 15 years? Only you and know the real answer, but I

suspect that maybe the pain just became too much. Now when some

people hit bottom so to speak, they commit suicide, or have a nervous

breakdown, some wake up and stop believing the stories.

Eddie that is part of the brilliant clarity of the Work. There is

NOTHING to work on but my THINKING, because that is the ONLY thing

that effects me. It can take some people a long time to see this, but

when they do it opens up a freedom and peace which is beyond

description.

The simplicity of the Work can be very difficult to accept if I

believe the stories of the world that the truth is extremely

difficult and complex.

As would say, of course it looks that way to you because you

believe the thoughts you are thinking. My world looks the way it does

to me because I question all my stressful thinking. In my world I

would be very confused if I even believed there was such a thing as

LOC. LOL ... but that's just little old spider man me.

Hey Jan,

LOL ... my original statement to Eddie was not stressful for me so I

saw no need to inquire into it.

I think I would go crazy if I inquired into everything I wrote (and

yes I know that's just another one of my happy stories).

I find this conversation between Spiderman =) and Jan really

interesting. Some people say it´s not loving to yourself to smoke or

eat snacks or drink coffee or whatever. If you do it and you don´t

feel unhappy and you don´t feel a need to inquire what is wrong

then? For me something is wrong when I start to believe that

something is wrong. How is it for you? When I was a child every

adult, almost, around me smoked. I didn´t have a problem with it at

first. But then someone told me it was dangerous and that it was

wrong. Was it all of a sudden wrong for me to be amongst smokers?

Yes. One minute I didn´t care, next minute I suffered. Nothing

around me had changed. All I can see now is that something inside of

me changed so the things I used to not have a problem with became a

problem for me. Before people knew smoking could be dangerous and it

wasn´t good for you they didn´t see it as a problem. That is what

many " old " smokers have told me. Then they were told it was

dangerous and they started to suffer from their smoking and many

quit. Maybe they would have anyway, I don´t know. If is right

everything we do is nothing but a movement. Rape is someone moving.

Smoking is someone moving. Throwing a bomb is someone moving. Either

we think it is great or we don´t. I don´t know if this is true, I

just want to test the thought. If you don´t suffer and don´t feel a

need to inquiry (like Spiderman - - Neo here) what´s the point?

I see that Neo doesn´t seem to have any need to enquire but Jan seem

to have a lot of need. Who should do the inquiry? The one who need

it. This is all very helpful to me and I thank you both for your

posts!
