Guest guest
Andyman, I don't blame you for disliking that Soy Protein-I think that it tastes like chalk!!! Try Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Chocolate Flavored Whey Protein-it mixes easily and tastes great. :-)
Guest guest
What is the best tasting protein? I have some of the plain soy stuff and I don't like much of it in anything. I can really taste they soy and it doesn't taste good to me. I tried it in the power-packed oatmeal and it was pretty awful. It isn't quite as bad in a Myoplex Shake. Guest guest
Put it in you oatmeal. Did you try mixing it with fat-free skim milk instead of water? Mix it in the blender and add ice just like the Myoplex shakes, that tends to give it more consistancy. Unfortunately most protein powders are pretty much like that. They taste watered down because they don't have any fillers or carbs. What flavor was it? Cheryl C. ---------------------------------------------------------- >). Any suggestions as to how I can use all 2 pounds of it and disguise the taste drastically? . >
Guest guest
Hey , Thanks so much for all the Eggbeater ideas and ESPECIALLY the pancake recipe! Jam and Cool Whip on a pancake....I'm drooling!! .
Guest guest
Made a Myoplex shake with 2 scoops of Designer Protein and Crystal Light. Then split it in half. It was OK, tons better than the DP by itself. Not the sort of stuff you want to toast with at a wedding, but not bad as fuel. .
Guest guest
, Finally, I've found a friend who appreciates these as much as I do. :-) Have fun!

Guest guest
, I use the chocolate and the vanilla Designer Protein and like the flavor, but when I tried the vanilla praline flavor I could barely choke it down!! I ended up donating it to my friend, who (weirdly enough) thought it was delicious. Yuck! Jen B. P.S. Don't use a lot of water to mix it, that may help the watery consistency... I use 4 oz. water per scoop. > Bought some Designer Protein and I see it received a Gold award for taste. > Way back in '98, I recall BP saying that this was probably the best tasting > Protein Powder on the market. Personally, I found it gross. Like thin > watery custard. (I'd rather drink river-water than custard). Any > suggestions as to how I can use all 2 pounds of it and disguise the taste > drastically? .
