Guest guest
C Moff, welcome and thank you for introducing yourself. Do you mean this MPZ gene, instead of MPV? De-mylenating CMT generally refers to the string of CMT Type 1's. As for CMT long term, speaking from my own experience, I've lived with and learned to manage CMT symptoms since I was 10. Alot of that was 'trial and error', but it also involved early physical therapy, swimming and biking through my entire life, early supplementation with prescription strength potassium supplements, and now the use of a combination supplement stragey, working out 6 days a week (aquatics, pilates and martial arts - the later has been a big bonus for balance and movement) Let us know what your son's results are when they arrive. I hope you find help and hope here at . ~ Gretchen ( Founder and ELC)
