I'm attaching a link to this story rather than posting it here. The ink has a video from the local news conference, but does not show the actual video with the "alien." There is, however, a still of the alien looking in the window. I will post that picture below.

I'm not sure what it is, but given the still, I don't think it is a real alien. What has me suspicious is that the man who has the video wants an commission set up to deal with the situation and has sold the video to a documentary program.

Personally, if I had video of what I thought was an alien, I'd been sending copies around to various new agencies, at least parts of it. I would let people see the clip and THEN I'd be going the documentary route. The other thing I wonder is why didn't the guy have a bun either in place of the camera or with it? If it was a voyeur looking in on his daughters, then a gun might have been scarier than a video camera, or if they guy got hostile at being taped, you'd have the gun for security. At any rate, it would have been much more convincing if he'd put a round through that head and we had a body to examine. Surely and alien race visiting us knows we are a violent lot and would be better prepared for such things and not go poking its face right up in someone's window.

So, I think it is a fake, since there have been many in the past. I've seen a few videos that made me think, but based on this still, not so much. I would like to see the entire clip though, so if the documentary is released on TV I'd watch it, but I'm not about the shell out cash for it.

You might need to work on your monitor settings. I keep mine rather dark and had to crank them way up to see anything. Its dead center in the window. Silly alien: you're supposed to look in from the side where you are less visible to the people inside.
