Holiday Shoe Dilema (for the ladies:) HELP!!!!

I have several parties to go to over the Christmas holidays. I have

two dilemas: I am pregnant and I can't wear heels. The pregnancy issue

is something I can remedy, but I purchased a pair of flats today with

pointy toes and the problem that I have is that my arch is so high, it

comes above the shoe. Other than that, they are very flattering, but

the gaping area on the side of each foot bothers me.

Do any of you know of an orthotic piece that can be used only in the

arch areas? It would have to be black or dark brown in

color...otherwise, it would show.

If you have any ideas, please let me know!
