Actually, times are just getting harder and harder for poor Sonologists. This is just a feeble smile at the myriad travails. In real fact, the PNDT act does not specify how big or what should be written on the board. That is an excuse used by various authorities to harass us re deficiencies. In fact, one inspector insisted that the copy of the act should be placed on top of the USG machine, while another said that the board should be in blue with white letters! Yet one chap insists that Gynaecologists are not eligible to do Sonography, despite the wording in the PNDT act! We are put under a microscope for filling something wrong in the F forms, whileas the real culprits escape precisely because they do not fill the F forms at all!
