Re: NELI Conference

I went to NELI but I probably let you all down. I work nights and usually I

can finish up between 1-2 a.m. and getting up at 7 a.m. would be difficult,

but not impossible. Of course, last night, I didn't finish up until 3:30 and

I didn't get to sleep until 5 a.m., so when I got up at 7 a.m. I was

incredibly disoriented, not in particular great shape for driving. So I went

back

to sleep and decided I would go when I woke up. I got there a little after

1:00. The volume of the speakers was really awful. I'm trying to listen to

see if any of it got recorded well enough to hear.

I hope you can all understand. It would be like you all going to bed at 10

p.m., having to get up at midnight, staying up all night for a conference,

and then going to work for a full day when the conference was finished.

I do have the book.

I hope someone else might have been there the entire time or was sitting

close enough to get a better recording.

I wasn't particularly put off really by anything they said as most of what

they said I've heard said by my district.
