Guest guest
Hi - I'm usually in the background, quietly being amazed by all the wonderful information being shared here - thank you so much to everyone! I have learned so much here and it motivates me to keep trying new things and work harder at making better products in my very little venture. I have an herbal salve that is made with base oils that are warm-infused with fresh herbs then combined with natural beeswax to give it firmness. Nothing exciting, lol. I'd love to be able to give it some " body " for lack of a better term. Specifically, is there I way to get it to be gelatinous, sort of like Vaseline? I've worked with emulsifiers and preservatives, but only with O/W or W/O blends, this is all oil and beeswax. I'm not averse to adding water and preservative if need be, but I am not sure even where to start. I want this to be more like an ointment instead of a flat tin of shoe polish, if that makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Beth
