RE: Neurontin distribution

Hi Cheryl

I take two 300mg capsules of Neurontin 4 times each day. I take it on a

10-4-10-4 schedule. I don't have to set the clock for the 4am dose because

by then the Neurontin I took at 10pm has worn off.

It is my understanding that Neurontin should be taken in equal doses.

Neurontin has a short half life so it wears off within 6 hours for me. What

kind of pain are you taking it for? I believe it is most affective for nerve

pain. I have been taking it for more three years now and it still clouds my

thinking and several other side effects. I am still thankful to have it

because I couldn't live with what my pain would be like.

One easy way to find out about a medication is to type the name into your

favorite search engine. Also your pharmacist is supposed to give you an

information sheet especially if it is the first time you have taken

something.
