Guest guest
Hi , Message posts are emails from members asking questions or sharing their CMT experience. These happen each day. Sometimes these also include new research abstracts and other medical news of interest. Everyone gets the 'posts'. If you wish to send a post to the group, you can do it either from Outlook or whatever email center you have, or you can log into with your user ID and password, then go to the Menu on the left, click on " post " and write your message. I check the posts at least twice a day to keep things flowing. If you want that book by Paolo Vinci, contact the Italian CMT organization http://aicmt.org His book is now only available as you join the organization. However, I donated one of my copies to my library, and there must be a few others in the USA that have it. You could ask your librarian to search for it. Our " Files " section is where we store important full text articles and other info about CMT for easy referral and reference, like all the Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) research. Although you will find many posts (emails) from group members in our " Archived posts " on that subject starting from April 2004 and moving forward. You can skim through all the posts easy and skip the introductions by changing your settings to " Daily Digest " . It has all the posts numbered, you can see the titles of posts and then skim down to find that post. We've never had 'directions' here, it has just pretty much been user- friendly. Either post a message, look in the files, search the archives, add a photo, look in the links. On the links, they will be going through a major, much needed overhaul soon, so be patient. In the DataBase (click on it from the left Menu) you can add yourself to the contact list and also find a list of books about living with Chronic Illness, pain, etc. is well known in the CMT community. The information here is very cutting edge sometimes, and as for the info here, it is available to all who are part of - can be found in search engines, we were also mentioned in several publications, and on some California television stations awhile back. Considering is free, and my time spent on 'work' is non-paid, since I have more to do in life, I can only give it so much time. However, I am committed and we have grown and expanded greatly in 8 years. Did you see the postage stamp I designed last year? You can still order them in time for Christmas cards. Follow the link off our main page. I am still working on several more projects also. I'm pleased you have found helpful. ~ Gretchen
