Guest guest Posted September 17, 2004 Report Share Posted September 17, 2004 Hi everyone, WOW what a welcome to Alabama ! Ivan was a strong storm. But we feel blessed. No power for about 13 hours and then it was intermittent along with phone service and cable service. For the last 3 hours we have had all 3 ! So we are making progress in this area. We have a tree down, many many branches down. Worked most of the day cleaning up the yard of limbs and branches and putting our yard furniture and plants back outside after cleaning up good. Needless to say I hurt head to toe from all the work but have been in computer withdrawal. I was so excited when I walked back here and the internet light was lite up showing that the cable modem was back up and working ! So I thought I would quickly check-in. Tomorrow I will go out and take pics of the downed tree and all the brush we have been cleaning up. Whew......I am so sore....but blessed too as I could of never done all this work before my DS !
