Guest guest
Beth, Wow, I have just the opposite problem. I was very thin and then my thyroid started to act up. I gained 70 pounds but recently have been able to lose 40 of it. About 30 or 40 more and I'll be back to where I had been. I'm close to menopause now so I'm not sure if I'll even lose it. They say the older you get the harder it is to lose. Beth S.bethlakey <bethlakey@...> wrote: Hi Beth,I have an enlarged thyroid that showed up on an MRI. I am still looking for those test results. I found out yesterday that my resting pulse is 102, which is a little high, but might explain why I never seem to gain weight. Actually, during the time I had implants, I dropped from 100 to 85 pounds. I'm a small person so it wasn't too bad, but I am now up to 95 pounds. Maybe I'm on the edge of hyperthyroid? I think my tests were almost borderline, am trying to remember.hugs,BethOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals.
