Guest guest
Extraneous Text deleted by Moderator Sherrie, thanks for the welcome, I enjoy this group, and thank you for telling me about it. With the pain my body is giving me if I don't have a warped sense of humor I may go out of my tree. The dr is going to give me a cortizone shot in my knee next appt. if that doesn't work then he said they can put something like " motor oil " in my knee to cushion the knee? It takes five appts because the stuff is so thick. What do you think? Marge
Guest guest
Extraneous Text deleted by Moderator Norma, thank you for your warm welcome, and thank you for letting me know that a warmer climate does not help. My pain management dr just said go south, I told him " no " , my family, kids, grandkids are here. I can't see that my pain is going to change if I leave all the love I know. I agree that prayer, keeping as busy as we can and a warped sense of humor will get us through. As long as I keep my eyes off the pain and crochet I can make it through. Hope your Christmas was a good one. Hugs, Marge
Guest guest
Hi my name is Becky, I have joined this group because I am stressed with some unexpected and traumatic situations which have happened recently and have discovered from researching my problems with sleeping that stress can cause such problems. During researching, thru the internet have found no list of remedies, all are essayed in detail of the effects, causes etc. I am looking for tried and tested remedies for dealing with stress, as my doctor has proved absolutely useless! So I think this group maybe benifical to me, and I shall try to contribute by posting my findings to others. I understand that everybody is different and what may help with some, may not help with others. From what I can gather, the cure for stress is relaxation and have come across a relaxation method which is little, but some use to me, and that is: Oil Burners: A dish of water with a few drops of a relaxing, comforting fragrance oil, transfusing into the atmosphere from being heated by a tealight candle. My personal favourite for relaxation is: Toasted Cinnamon Tips: This may not be benefical if a non-relaxing fragrance oil is used, such as any citrus fragrances which are commonly known for revitalising (waking up.
