Guest guest
Do you have capsular contracture? pain? My doctor reported the capsular contracture and pain and my insurance paid. They even paid to replace them on that basis. Anita Dr Kolb just emailed me & said $6000 to remove just.... the capsules...does insurance usually cover that? I don't see how I would be able to spend another 6k if I wasn't getting paid back from Aetna, how did you all afford for your removal? What terms do I have to have for insurance to cover it? Guest guest
Insurance should cover removing the capsules, if you qualify for removal at all. Dr. Kolb will be able to tell you if YOUR insurance will cover you. She will have the codes require for coverage. Insurance companies have several outs . . . The doctor is not covered by them . . . Your policy excludes complications of cosmetic surgery . . . Your policy excludes implant complications. They usually will not pay for a lift or replacement. Otherwise, your chances are good for coverage, especially if you're sick. It costs the insurance companies more to keep you sick than it does to remove your implants!
