Guest guest
, Did you insurance pay for removing your implants? If they didn't you probably have an uphill struggle! A few suggestions . . . I don't know which, if any might work. Gather Dr. Blais's information we've been posting on retained capsules. Be prepared to give that to your doctor or insurance company. Check with your primary care doctor to see if you can get a recommendation for removal of your capsules. That will go a long way! . . . Hopefully you can demonstrate to him/her that your health has improved markedly since having your implants removed, but that it's important to take the second step. Locate the plastic surgeon who you want to remove your capsules and let them work through your insurance company. Talk to you insurance company and tell them what you know/feel (This would be my last choice.) I hope one of these suggestions helps! . . . I know you will have more peace of mind if the capsules are removed, and probably regain your health faster as well. Love, Rogene
