Dawn, I went through a similar " losing it " phase right before

explant. Actually, I was sort of in this happy denial until I met

Dr. M. Then, it hit me. He's going to cut my breasts open and rip

out the implants. I'm going to have a major procedure done. The

fear began to take over. Ways that I coped included reminders:

The implants were making me sicker.

Many women have explanted and improved their health.

The implants would not last much longer.

The operation would not be painful, (although I didn't believe Dr. M

until after the operation was over!)

So, you're going to do fine. It's a lovely freedom, and you deserve

it. I don't enjoy being stuck in airline seats; I feel so

confined. So, I took some favorite treats for me, and I took a good

book. I only carried a small purse on the plane with me, as weight

was a major issue on the way home. What calms you down? Maybe

music or a book, or writing. Whatever is good for you, embrace it,

and walk through that fear! You'll be glad you did.

And you are definitely not boring me with your emotions; it just

helps me realize that the common issues are a reminder that I am

human, too.

I walked through it, others have walked through it, and so can you.

I hope this helped a little.....Jackie

Dear Dawn,

My guess is that all of us have had a feeling of sheer panic before removal, especially when its so close.I can remember thinking what if "I DIE" what if "its not the implants" I think its perfectly normal to be thinking and feeling the way you are.

Dont give up its not long now.

Thank You Sue! Yeah, that " If I die " thing really gets to me. You're

right on target with the " what if it's not the implants " . That's why

I have to wrestle myself back in to reality and realize that I was

not sick like this prior to implants...

Thanks again Sue.

Thanks so much Jackie... you are my inspiration right now! I

remember what you went through, counting down each day. Yeah, I 've

been in a happy denial myself until I realized I have to pack my

bag. Now it's like a ton of bricks.

Everything you say about the implants making me sick, etc., I

believe too. I just still cannot believe this is happening.

Thanks again Jackie..

Hugs..

Dawn,

Part of silicone problems is anxiety . . . You're

going to be fine . . . When this is over you'll wonder

what you were worried about. But it's natural to feel

the way you do. . .

Please put your life and health in God's hands and

trust that He is going to protect you.

One step at a time . . . Feel God's love embracing

you. You're going to make it through to the sunshine!

God Bless,

Rogene
