As parents and family members of children with MDS we all know how important it is to have our doctors, school teachers, therapists, ect... educated on MDS to serve our children to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately, we do not have enough volunteers to help spread the message and educate these professionals. We need help! If enough people volunteer, our organization will become stronger. The more volunteers, the easier the burden will be. If you have one to two hours to spare a week, please help us! Without volunteers our children will not benefit as much as they deserve to. No experience necessary! When we began IMDSA, no parent had any experience in non-profit charities or how they were run! Now, the available positions are: Research Chair and Publicity Chair. In addition to these positions, very soon we will be needing volunteers to help coordinate our 2005 convention.
